About Us

•  Daydream Designs is a manifestation of my personal aspirations, combining both a dream and a challenge into one entity. Throughout the years, I have always been a dreamer, constantly envisioning different possibilities for myself. However, I never took the leap to turn any of these dreams into reality. Each passing year brought a new dream, but I never mustered the courage to pursue them. My younger years were dedicated to being a devoted mother, raising and supporting my four children, leaving me with little time to indulge in daydreams.

As I have grown older and approached my sixties, with retirement looming on the horizon, I began contemplating how I would spend my time once I caught up on much-needed rest and household chores. Then, the unexpected arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic shifted my focus. I found myself engrossed in watching Facebook Live videos of various jewelry artists, witnessing their creative processes. This exposure expanded my realm of possibilities, igniting a spark within me. I had been purchasing crystal jewelry, but a thought crossed my mind: what if I could create it myself?

I consider myself fortunate to have a supportive husband who shares in my dream. His childhood love for collecting rocks has proven invaluable, as he now crafts many of the cabochons used in my jewelry pieces. My aspiration is to continue learning and exploring different artistic mediums. Together, our shared dream is to spend our winters searching for and excavating crystals, ensuring that each piece we create is truly unique.
With retirement scheduled for the spring of 2025, I plan to persist in crafting wire wrapped jewelry while expanding my techniques. Additionally, this year, I hope to incorporate laser jewelry into my repertoire. By the summer of 2025, I aspire to delve into the art of metalsmithing, broadening the scope of my creations.
